2024 Travel Grant for Surgical Residents/Trainees in COSECSA nations

Upasuaji International is excited to begin accepting applications for our 2024 travel grant.

The grant is designed to financially assist trainees in COSECSA nations to attend scientific conferences where they will present their original research.

• Amount: Up to $1000 of qualified travel expenses will be covered.

• Eligibility: Any surgical trainee in COSECSA nations is encouraged to apply. This includes fellows and OB/GYN trainees

Qualified travel expenses include train/air/bus travel and lodging expenses for conference dates. Up to $100 of the conference registration fee will be reimbursed, included within the total $1000 grant limit.

• Non-Qualified Expenses: Food, entertainment, travel or lodging outside of the conference dates, and other miscellaneous expenses are not covered by the grant.

• Reimbursement Limit: The total reimbursement for qualified travel expenses and conference registration fees will not exceed $1000. Any expenses exceeding this limit will not be reimbursed.
